Two paths to the sea #

For PCM students aged 17–22 dreaming of a sailor career, two doors open: Indian Navy (SSR / AA) and Indian Coast Guard (Navik / Yantrik). Both are tri-service ranks, both train at INS Chilka, and both pay roughly the same starting wage — yet their cultures, missions and growth ladders differ.
