Why MNS is one of the most rewarding careers in India #

Military Nursing Service officers are commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces. They draw officer pay, get free family medical, gallantry & wound pension benefits, and serve in some of the world's most respected military hospitals — AIIMS-class infrastructure, but with a flag.

Eligibility at a glance #

  • Gender: Female
  • Marital status: Unmarried
  • Age: 17–25 years
  • Qualification: 10+2 PCB with English (50% aggregate)
  • Selection: Written exam → Interview → Medical

A 6-month preparation plan #

  1. Months 1–2 — Strengthen NCERT Biology and Chemistry
  2. Months 3–4 — Physics + English + daily GK reading
  3. Months 5 — Mock tests every weekend
  4. Month 6 — Interview & personality grooming
